The vehicle’s chassis is subjected to significant loads during fast driving, heavy braking and acceleration, mainly due to the transfer of the body’s mass.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause excessive bending and twisting of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis twist when cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar with a diameter of 16 mm is designed to reduce these effects.
