Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar for Fiat Grande Punto I

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads due to driving style. This is particularly evident because of the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

In some cases, weight transfer in a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. The result is significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or bodywork, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Deformation and twisting of the chassis while driving through a corner can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
