Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar for Ford Explorer U502 3.5 4WD

The Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar with a diameter of 25 mm is designed to reduce unwanted body roll when cornering, braking hard and accelerating.

The suspension is the part of the vehicle subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. When cornering quickly, braking hard or accelerating, the body’s weight is redistributed between the wheels, which can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This creates significant loads, bending and twisting of the body, which can ultimately cause the tyres to lose grip.

Twisting and deformation of the chassis when cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The anti-roll bar helps limit body roll and improve vehicle predictability.
