The Ultra Racing UR-AR20-427 rear anti-roll bar for Ford Ranger (T6) and Mazda BT-50 (UP) has a diameter of 20 mm. It is designed to reduce body roll and improve the vehicle’s behaviour in corners.
The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer during cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to three times greater than the other. This causes significant chassis flexing, deformation and torsional loads on the body, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing during cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
