The car chassis is subjected to high loads during fast driving, particularly due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or sudden acceleration.

When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This leads to greater chassis flex or body deformation, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis flex and deformation while driving through a corner can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar with a diameter of 18 mm helps limit body roll and improve vehicle handling in corners.
