The Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar for Honda CR-V I (RD1-RD3) has a diameter of 19 mm. It is designed to limit body roll and improve vehicle behaviour during dynamic driving.
The vehicle chassis is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or intense acceleration.
In certain cases, weight transfer in a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. The result is high loads on the chassis, body flex and loss of tyre grip.
Chassis flex and deformation in corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The rear anti-roll bar is designed to reduce these effects and provide more predictable vehicle behaviour.
