Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar for Honda CR-V I (RD1–RD3)

A car’s suspension is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body weight when cornering at speed, braking hard or accelerating sharply.

In some cases, weight transfer while cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to loads up to three times greater than the other. This causes severe twisting of the suspension and deformation of the body, resulting in the tyres losing grip.

Suspension deformation and twisting while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
