The Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar with a diameter of 25 mm is designed to reduce body roll and improve vehicle handling during dynamic cornering, heavy braking or acceleration. This version is intended for Hyundai Santa Fe (TM) vehicles with a 2.4 4WD engine and Kia Sorento (UM) vehicles with a 2.4D 4WD engine.
The car’s chassis is subjected to considerable forces under these loads. Due to the transfer of body mass, one side of the vehicle can in some cases experience up to 3 times more load than the other during fast cornering. The consequences are body twisting, loss of tyre grip and less predictable vehicle handling.
Excessive chassis twisting when cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The anti-roll bar helps limit body roll and improve suspension responsiveness.
