The vehicle body is subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly noticeable when weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in increased loads and body twisting, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Body twisting while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing anti-roll bar helps improve the vehicle’s lateral stability and reduce the effect of body roll.
The anti-roll bar is intended for the Mazda 2 (DJ) with a 1.5D engine and 2WD in hatchback form, and with a 1.5 engine and 2WD in saloon form. It also fits the Mazda CX-3 (DK) with a 1.5D or 2.0 engine and 2WD.
