Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar for Mercedes-Benz 190 W201

A car’s suspension is one of the most heavily loaded parts while driving. This is particularly true due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

In some cases, load transfer in a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This causes significant twisting and deformation of the body, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.

Deformation and twisting of the chassis in a corner can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.

The anti-roll bar helps limit body roll when driving through corners.
