Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar for Mercedes-Benz A-Class V177/W177

The 18 mm Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar is designed for Mercedes-Benz A-Class V177/W177 A200 1.3 2WD vehicles with a rear torsion beam. The anti-roll bar helps limit body roll when driving through corners.

The vehicle’s suspension is subjected to heavy loads during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration, mainly due to the transfer of the vehicle’s weight.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can lead to excessive twisting and bending of the chassis, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Twisting and deformation of the chassis when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The upgraded rear anti-roll bar helps improve control over the behaviour of the body.
