The vehicle bodywork is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and hard acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This can result in significant flexing and twisting of the chassis or bodywork, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis when cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar with a diameter of 16 mm is designed to reduce these effects.
