Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar for Saab 9-5 I (YS3E)

The vehicle’s suspension is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. High loads occur mainly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in significant deformation and twisting of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Deformation and twisting of the chassis in corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.

The Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar helps limit body roll and improve the vehicle’s behaviour when cornering.
