The suspension is the part of the vehicle subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. These loads are mainly caused by the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and hard acceleration.

When cornering, the transfer of weight to one side of the vehicle can result in forces up to three times greater than on the other side. This causes the suspension to twist and the body to deform, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.

Deformation and twisting of the suspension while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar helps reduce body roll and improve vehicle stability in corners.
