The vehicle’s suspension is among the components subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. When cornering quickly, braking hard or accelerating, the body weight is redistributed between the wheels, affecting the load on the chassis and the tyre grip.
When cornering, weight redistribution can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in greater chassis twisting, body deformation and loss of tyre grip.
Chassis twisting and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar helps limit body roll and improve the vehicle’s responsiveness and stability.
