The Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar for Toyota Chaser X90 has a diameter of 22 mm. The anti-roll bar helps limit body roll and improve vehicle behaviour during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
The vehicle chassis is the part most heavily loaded by the driver’s driving. This is particularly pronounced due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
In some cases, the transfer of mass during cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can result in significant twisting and bending of the chassis or bodywork, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis twisting and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
