Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar for Volkswagen Golf I (Type 17)

The vehicle body is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can result in significant bending and twisting of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis bending and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The rear anti-roll bar helps control body roll and contributes to more predictable vehicle behaviour.

The anti-roll bar is intended for the Volkswagen Golf I (Type 17), the version with a 1.6 engine and 2WD.
