Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar for Volkswagen Passat B8 (3G)

The vehicle chassis is subjected to high loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of the body’s mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.

When cornering, load transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes significant chassis deformation and twisting, resulting in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
