Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar for Volvo 240

A car’s suspension is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. High loads occur mainly due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

In some cases, weight transfer in a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can cause significant chassis twisting or body deformation, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting in corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The rear anti-roll bar helps reduce body roll and contributes to more predictable handling.
