Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar for Volvo S40 II

The car’s suspension is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

In some cases, weight transfer during cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in significant twisting and deformation of the chassis or bodywork, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
