The Ultra Racing rear anti-roll bar for VW Golf I (Type 17) has a diameter of 18 mm.

The vehicle chassis is the part most exposed to loads during driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

In some cases, load transfer during cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This results in significant chassis bending or deformation and body twisting, causing the tyres to lose grip.
