Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for BMW 1 F20, BMW 2 F22 and BMW M2 F22

The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to reduce body flex and twisting during dynamic driving. It is attached at 2 mounting points.

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads due to driving conditions. This is particularly noticeable when the body weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

In some cases, weight transfer in a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to 3 times greater than the other. This can result in significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
