The vehicle chassis is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This places significant loads on the chassis, twisting the body and consequently reducing tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace helps increase the rigidity of this part of the body.
