The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to increase the rigidity of the vehicle body. During fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the chassis is subjected to significant loads due to the transfer of the body’s weight.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause considerable chassis flex or body deformation, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The brace helps reduce unwanted flexing of the lower rear section of the chassis.
