Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for BYD Atto 3 I

A car’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

In some cases, the transfer of mass in a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This causes significant chassis flex or deformation and torsional twisting of the body, resulting in the tyres losing grip.

Deformation and twisting of the chassis while driving through a corner can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
