The vehicle chassis is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of the vehicle body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and hard acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer while cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to three times greater than the other. This results in significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing brace helps reduce these effects and improve chassis rigidity.
