The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving, mainly due to the transfer of the body’s mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When driving through corners, mass transfer can be such that one side of the vehicle is subjected to a force up to three times greater than the other. This causes significant chassis flex or body deformation, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to provide an additional connection and increase the stiffness of the rear section of the body. It attaches to 2 mounting points.
Compatibility is limited to the 1.4T 2WD engine in the Fiat Bravo and the 2.4 2WD engine in the Fiat Stilo.
