The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest stress during dynamic driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or sudden acceleration.
In some cases, mass transfer when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to three times greater than the other. This causes considerable chassis flex or body deformation, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed for installation on the Ford Ranger Raptor VI (P-703) and has 3 mounting points.
Suitable for: Ford Ranger VI (P703).
