The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed for the Kia Sportage III (SL), manufactured between 2010 and 2016. The brace has 2 mounting points.
The vehicle’s chassis is subjected to high loads during fast driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, the transfer of weight can result in forces on one side of the vehicle being up to 3 times greater than on the other side. This causes the chassis or body to twist and flex, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The product is intended for 2.0D and 2.0 TDI engines with 2WD, including the facelift version.
