The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to reduce body twisting during dynamic driving. During fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration, the chassis is subjected to high loads caused by the transfer of the vehicle’s weight.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to loads up to three times greater than the other. This can cause significant twisting and deformation of the chassis, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis twisting and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
