The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When driving through a corner, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes considerable twisting of the chassis or deformation of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Twisting and deformation of the chassis when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing brace helps reduce unwanted bending of the rear section of the chassis and contributes to more predictable vehicle handling.
