A vehicle’s chassis is exposed to high loads during fast driving, especially due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the chassis to twist or the body to deform, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis twisting and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace helps further connect the suspension mounting points and reduce unwanted body flex.
