The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. These loads are mainly caused by the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to loads up to three times greater than the other. This causes pronounced chassis flex or body deformation, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The brace has 4 mounting points. The product is intended for the 1.6 engine version with 2WD.
