The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace consists of two 2-point rear side bars and is designed to increase body rigidity during dynamic driving. The kit has a total of 4 mounting points.
The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. When cornering quickly, braking hard or accelerating, the transfer of the vehicle’s weight affects the body.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to 3 times greater than on the other side. This can cause significant chassis flex or deformation and torsion of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing brace helps reduce unwanted flexing of the rear body section.
