Ultra Racing rear torsion bar for Mazda CX-7 I 2.3 4WD

The vehicle’s chassis is heavily loaded during dynamic driving, particularly due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, intensive braking and hard acceleration.

When cornering, mass transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or bodywork, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear torsion bar increases the stiffness of the rear section of the chassis and helps limit such movement.
