ACL Race main bearings are designed for high-performance engines where low friction, wear resistance and reliable operation under high loads are important. The Calico CT-1 coating provides dry lubrication during intermittent oil starvation.

The coating is applied by a spray process, with thickness adjusted to suit the application and assembly constraints. The bearings offer excellent embedability, allowing debris contaminants to embed in the bearing and helping to avoid crankshaft damage.

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
