ACL Race Series tri-metal rod bearings are designed for higher engine RPM conditions. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering provides consistent support for demanding engine use.
Hardened steel backs improve support for the bearing lining and retention in the housing. The set includes ACL Race Series con rod bearings.
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
- Hardened steel backs and increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing
- Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and grip in the housing
- Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assist hydrodynamic oil film formation
- Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
