ACL Race main bearings for Ford Duratorq 3.2 / P5-AT

ACL Race main bearings are trimetal engine bearings designed to withstand higher RPM conditions. Their construction combines a high-strength overlay plate, increased crush and greater eccentricity for improved bearing retention and the formation of hydrodynamic oil films.

3/4-grooved main bearings optimize the bearing load-carrying surface area and oil flow to the conrod bearings. Tight, consistent wall tolerances help maintain consistent clearances.

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
