ACL Race Series are tri-metal main bearings designed for higher-RPM conditions. Their construction combines a high-strength overlay, consistent wall thickness tolerances and features that support stable hydrodynamic oil films.
The main bearing set incorporates design solutions for improved retention in the housing, heat transfer and compensation for bore distortion at high RPM.

- Flash plating eliminated from the back to improve heat transfer and maximize grip between the bearing and housing.
- Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion and assist in forming hydrodynamic oil films.

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
