ACL Race Series main bearings are trimetal engine bearings designed for higher-RPM conditions. The combination of design, metallurgy and engineering provides support for performance engine builds.
The set includes ACL Race Series main bearings with features that improve bearing retention in the housing, heat transfer and hydrodynamic oil film formation.
- Trimetal construction with a high-strength overlay plate of reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties.
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing.
- Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assist in hydrodynamic oil film formation.
- 3/4-grooved main bearings to optimize bearing load-carrying surface area and oil flow to the conrod bearings.
- Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances.
Suitable for: Hyundai Elantra VII (CN7), Hyundai Genesis I (BK), Hyundai Grandeur IV (TG), Hyundai I30 III (PD), Hyundai IX35 I (LM/EL/ELH), Hyundai Santa FE III (DM), Hyundai Sonata IV (NF), Hyundai Veloster II (JS), Kia Carens III (UN), Kia Optima I (TF) / IV (JF), Kia Sorento II (XM) / III (UM), Kia Sportage II (JE/KM) / III (SL), Kia Stinger I (CK).
Engines: Theta II 2.0T, Theta II 2.4, Theta II 2.0, Theta II 2.4 GDI, Theta 2.4, Theta 2.0 (G4KH, G4KF, G4KC, G4KJ, G4KA, G4KD, G4KE, G4KL). Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
