ACL Race main bearings are designed for demanding operating conditions and higher engine RPM. Their tri-metal construction combines design, metallurgy and engineering for reliable bearing performance.
The set includes ACL Race Series main bearings and is available in STD and −0.025 mm versions. Increased eccentricity helps compensate for bore distortion at high RPM.
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing
- Flash plating eliminated from the back for improved heat transfer and increased grip in the housing
- 3/4-grooved main bearings to optimize bearing load-carrying surface area and oil flow to the conrod bearings
- Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances
- Enlarged ID chamfers on bearing edges for large fillet radii on performance crankshafts

Engines: 4G63, 4G64, 4G69 (4G64, 4G63, 4G63-T, 4G69). Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
