ACL Race main bearings for Nissan TD42 / TD42T

ACL Race Series main bearings are trimetal engine bearings designed to withstand higher RPM conditions. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering is intended for high-performance engine applications.

This set is suited to crankshafts where consistent clearances and controlled oil flow to the conrod bearings are required.

• High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
• Increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing
• Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and increased grip in the housing
• Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assist in forming hydrodynamic oil films
• 3/4-grooved main bearings to optimize bearing load-carrying surface area and oil flow to the conrod bearings
• Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances

Suitable for: Nissan Patrol II (Y60) / III (160) / III (Y61).

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
