ACL Race Series main bearings are tri-metal engine bearings designed for higher RPM conditions. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering supports operation under high loads.
Increased eccentricity helps compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assists in forming hydrodynamic oil films. The 3/4 grooves optimize the main bearing load-carrying surface area and oil flow to the conrod bearings.
- Tri-metal construction with a high-strength overlay plate of reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties.
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing.
- Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and increased grip in the housing.
- Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM.
- Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances.
Suitable for: Nissan 350Z I (Z33), Nissan 370Z I (Z34), Nissan 400Z I (RZ34), Nissan Crossover I (370GT), Nissan Fuga I (Y51), Nissan GT R I (R35), Nissan Skyline VI (HV37), Nissan Stagea II (M35/NM35).
Engines: VQ35HR, VQ37VHR, VR38DETT, VR30DDTT. Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
