ACL Race Series are trimetal main bearings designed for engines operating at higher RPM. The combination of design, metallurgy and engineering provides high strength and reliable bearing retention in the housing.
The bearings feature a thinner high-strength overlay plate, increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM, and tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances. The set includes ACL Race Series main bearings.
- Trimetal construction with a high-strength overlay plate
- 3/4 grooved main bearings to optimize bearing load-carrying surface area and oil flow to the conrod bearings
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing
- Flash plating eliminated from the back for improved heat transfer and grip in the housing
- Enlarged ID chamfers on bearing edges for large fillet radii on performance crankshafts
Suitable for: Porsche 911 991 / 992.
Engines: MA1.77, MA1.76, MA2.75 (MA1.76, MA1.77, MA2.75). Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
