ACL Race main bearings are trimetal engine bearings designed to withstand higher RPM conditions. Their construction combines high strength, controlled tolerances and features suited to performance crankshafts.
The set includes main bearings with improved retention in the housing, efficient heat transfer and optimized oil flow to the conrod bearings.
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties

- Flash plating eliminated on the back of the bearings to improve heat transfer and grip in the housing
- Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assist in forming hydrodynamic oil films

- Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
