ACL Race main bearings for Vauxhall LS1 / LS2 / LS3

ACL Race Series main bearings are designed for high-performance engines operating at higher RPM. Their trimetal construction combines high strength, consistent seating and effective heat transfer.

The set is available with an additional 0.025 mm clearance, suited to performance engine builds and crankshafts with larger fillet radii.

• High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
• Increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing
• Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and increased grip in the housing
• Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assist in forming hydrodynamic oil films
• 3/4-grooved main bearings to optimize load-carrying surface area and oil flow to the conrod bearings
• Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances

Suitable for: Vauxhall Monaro I (V2X), Vauxhall VXR8 I (VXR8).

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
