ACL Race rod bearings for BMW S54

ACL Race Series rod bearings are trimetal engine bearings designed for higher RPM conditions. Their construction combines a high-strength overlay plate, steel back and consistent wall tolerances.

Available clearance variations include standard, +0.025 mm, −0.025 mm and −0.25 mm options.

• High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
• Hardened steel backs for improved bearing lining support and retention in the housing
• Increased crush for improved bearing retention
• Flash plating eliminated from the back for improved heat transfer and housing grip
• Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM

Suitable for: BMW 3 IV (E46), BMW Z3 I (E36), BMW Z4 I (E85/E86).

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
