ACL Race rod bearings for Vauxhall LS1 / LS2 / LS3

ACL Race Series rod bearings are trimetal engine bearings designed for higher RPM conditions. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering provides improved performance under high loads.

The set contains ACL Race Series rod bearings. The construction uses hardened steel backs, increased crush and increased eccentricity to improve bearing retention and assist in forming a hydrodynamic oil film.

• High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
• Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining and bearing retention in the housing
• Increased crush for improved bearing retention
• Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and increased grip in the housing
• Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM
• Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances

Suitable for: Vauxhall Monaro I (V2X), Vauxhall VXR8 I (VXR8).

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
