ACL Race Series are trimetal rod bearings for high-performance engines operating at higher RPM. Their design, metallurgy and engineering provide support for demanding operating conditions.
The set includes ACL Race Series rod bearings. Standard and undersize versions are available according to the selected variation.
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
- Hardened steel backs on all rod bearings to support the bearing lining and assist with retention in the housing
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention
- Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assist in forming hydrodynamic oil films
- Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
