ACL Race rod bearings for Ford Kent

ACL Race trimetal rod bearings are designed for higher RPM conditions. The combination of design, metallurgy and engineering includes a high-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties.

Hardened steel backs improve support for the bearing lining and assist with bearing retention in the housing. Increased eccentricity helps compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assists in the formation of hydrodynamic oil films.

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
